Issaquah is surrounded on three sides by the "Issaquah Alps," Cougar Mountain on the west, Squak Mountain tothe south, and Tiger Mountain to the east.  Lake Sammamish is on the north and ispopular for boating, fishing and skiing.

Located in the heart of the I-90 business corridor, Issaquah has now become home to many of the Northwest'ss largest retail,corporate and manufacturing firms. It�s about a 30 minute commute to Seattle,Bellevue, Snoqualmie Pass, or to SeaTac airport. While the city itself claims 19,570 residents, the area of its growth master plan currently contains more than 60,000 and is expected to double over the next 20 years.

 

Seattle Magazine ranked Issaquah one of the top 10 Best Places to live in the NW Metroplex 2006 for many reasons but one is the variety of life. The neighboring highlands feature outdoor activity of every kind throughout the three mountains. Seven mile long and 1.5 mile wide Lake Sammamish is the scene of all the fresh water recreation the imagination can create. There are also many cultural and historical activities to be found in the town of Issaquah including International  Award-winning Salmon Days and Nationally-acclaimed Village Theatre. Gilman Boulevard is the city center of Issaquah,offering shops, offices, galleries, and dining facilities.
